“Working with Rachel has helped me find nuanced connections that feel revelatory every time. It’s transformative.”
— K.V.

I grew up dancing in studios around NYC and playing in Prospect Park, deeply connected to movement and embodiment. From our earliest moments in the womb, before we even take our first breath we respond and adapt to our surroundings through movement. Embodiment links us to the natural world, from the creatures that inhabit it to the elements that create it. Even the intricate patterns of mycelium, spiderwebs, and galaxies reflect the blueprint of our own fascia. By exploring our bodies and their relationship to the world, including other people and our connections, we can tap into a well of inner wisdom.

Modern living has disconnected us from ourselves, others, and nature, often disempowering us. The relatively recent wellness lingo '“mind body connection” implies that the two are separate but related entities. While it is true that there is a connection between mind and body, it is also true that they are not completely isolated from each other. Mind and body are interwoven. Our cells hold our emotions and memories. Even ancestral imprints influence how we perceive and carry ourselves. Scientific studies now support these findings. With the guidance to reintegrate embodied living we can positively impact our mental health, relationships, and overall quality of life.

Through mindful movement and receiving somatic therapy we can rediscover authenticity within ourselves. From deep personal exploration to simply practicing Pilates, my purpose is to share the profound healing potential of somatic work.

“Rachel is a magic body witch.”
